PING G2 Irons The PING G2 Irons feature a center of gravity moved away from the face and a wider sole for improved launch and more forgiveness. A new sand-blasting process improves ball-to-face contact for added control and consistent performance across the face. Every iron in the series contributes to your overall performance and enjoyment. They are extremely easy to hit and feature new cavity designs that extend the perimeter weighting and contribute to wider, more forgiving soles. The results are straighter, higher and more consistent iron shots. The G2 series cavity is parallel to the ground at address to provide for a wider, more forgiving sole. The larger clubhead expands the perimeter weighting for more forgiveness and includes a thick top line for added confidence. The G2 s wide sole moves the center of gravity away from the face to stabilize the club and launch the ball higher.
